A light can be mounted on the handlebars. Keep in mind, night riding is not allowed in Ohio unless a bicycle has reflectors and a light                                           What should I look for in a safety Helmet Check the inside of a bicycle helmet for a sticker of approval from the American Society for Testing and Material (ASTM) or the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). The helmet also should have: A smooth outer shell (not squared-off) Vents that provide airflow and keep your child’s head cool (Too many vents limit the amount of cushioning foam in the helmet.)
